The Discipline Group of Communication Studies is in the School of Social and Cultural Studies, within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at The University of Western Australia.

The group has a strong undergraduate and postgraduate teaching program, and is actively involved in research.

Communication Studies Supreme Court Practicum

In a world first, students in Communication Studies, as part of the Arts Practicum, will be working together with students in the Faculty of Law and the WA Supreme Court. As part of a collaborative effort to make court proceedings and decisions more accessible to the wider public, students will be producing digital media, including a range of educational materials.
